Build elsewhere. Deploy anywhere. Run it with PostDeploy. - [Guides: monitor a scheduled job | PostDeploy](https://postdeploy.dev/guides): Index of PostDeploy heartbeat guides, one per platform, each naming that platform's real failure mode and the heartbeat that catches it. - [Pricing: 30-day free trial, then Indie, Pro, Scale | PostDeploy](https://postdeploy.dev/pricing): PostDeploy plans and enforced allowances: a 30-day free trial with no card, then Indie, Pro and Scale, with a full feature comparison and pricing FAQ. - [Compare PostDeploy with the tools it replaces | PostDeploy](https://postdeploy.dev/alternatives): Index of the PostDeploy comparison pages: the uptime, cron, error tracking and analytics tools PostDeploy replaces, each compared figure by figure with one flat plan. - [Free uptime monitoring for side projects | PostDeploy](https://postdeploy.dev/free-uptime-monitoring): What the PostDeploy trial covers for uptime monitoring, how the checks run, and how it compares with other monitoring tools' entry plans. - [API monitoring with status and keyword checks | PostDeploy](https://postdeploy.dev/monitoring/api): How to monitor an HTTP API with PostDeploy: request shape, status assertions, keyword assertions on the response body, and the limits. - [Privacy-first analytics for small software teams | PostDeploy](https://postdeploy.dev/analytics): The PostDeploy Measure pillar: pageviews and custom events without cookies, how visitors are counted with a daily-rotating salted hash instead of a stored identifier, what each plan includes, and what Measure deliberately does not do. - [About PostDeploy: uptime, cron, errors and analytics in one toolkit | PostDeploy](https://postdeploy.dev/about): What PostDeploy does today across Monitor, Observe and Measure, what is planned, and who builds it. - [Cron job monitoring with heartbeats | PostDeploy](https://postdeploy.dev/monitoring/cron-jobs): How PostDeploy heartbeat monitoring catches jobs that stop running, fail, or hang, and how to add one to any scheduler. - [Error tracking for small software teams | PostDeploy](https://postdeploy.dev/error-tracking): The PostDeploy Observe pillar: how errors are grouped and triaged, how releases and sourcemaps turn a minified stack trace back into your source, what each plan includes, and what Observe deliberately does not do. - [Fathom Analytics alternative with monitoring included | PostDeploy](https://postdeploy.dev/alternatives/fathom): PostDeploy compared with Fathom Analytics: privacy-first analytics on both sides, and what one flat PostDeploy plan adds for a few dollars more. - [Google Analytics alternative without the consent banner | PostDeploy](https://postdeploy.dev/alternatives/google-analytics): PostDeploy compared with Google Analytics: consent-free, cookieless analytics plus monitoring, against the free default that needs a cookie banner. ## Plans Trial: 30 days, no card required, with Pro limits. - Indie: $5/month. 3 project(s), 20 uptime monitors, 20 cron jobs, 5 minutes check interval, 7 days of detailed uptime samples, 100,000 analytics events and 10,000 error events per month. - Pro: $29/month. 10 project(s), 100 uptime monitors, 200 cron jobs, 1 minute check interval, 30 days of detailed uptime samples, 500,000 analytics events and 50,000 error events per month. - Scale: $99/month. 50 project(s), 300 uptime monitors, 1000 cron jobs, 30 seconds check interval, 90 days of detailed uptime samples, 2,000,000 analytics events and 250,000 error events per month. One plan per organisation covers all three pillars. Going over an allowance blocks the next create with an upgrade prompt; it never adds a line to the invoice. ## What PostDeploy does and does not do Monitor checks: HTTP, keyword, TCP, DNS, and heartbeats, plus SSL and domain expiry warnings. Alerts go to email, Slack, Discord, webhook and Telegram on every plan and during the trial. Not offered, on any plan: ICMP ping checks, UDP checks, browser or transaction checks, multi-region checking (checks run from one region), and on-call rotation or escalation policies. Measure stores no cookies, no raw IP addresses and no persistent visitor identifiers; visitors are counted with a salted HMAC whose salt rotates daily. ## Heartbeat monitoring Ping `https://ingest.postdeploy.dev/h/{token}` with GET or POST from a cron job, systemd timer, CI workflow or scheduled handler. Add `?state=start` and `?state=finish` to also measure job duration, or report a shell exit status directly with `https://ingest.postdeploy.dev/h/{token}/$?`, where `0` is a success and any other value opens an incident immediately.
