Analytics without a cookie banner

Measure counts pageviews and registered custom events, then rolls them up for your project. You see traffic and named actions without a feed of raw visits.

Ask your connected agent to create a Measure source for your site. Replace YOUR_MEASURE_TOKEN with the browser token from that response, then add this before the closing body tag. The script records the first pageview and later browser navigation.

Push the registered event name when the action succeeds. This example counts a visitor who selects checkout.

Register clicked_checkout first. Ask your connected agent to register that Measure event for this project. The agent uses measure.create_event_definition. Measure drops unregistered names and discards event properties.

Measure sets no cookies, stores no raw IP address, and keeps no persistent visitor identifier. It combines the project, source, IP address, and user agent in a keyed hash. A secret salt rotates every day. Measure discards the raw inputs at ingest and stores only the hash.

A hash from today cannot match a hash from yesterday. Measure can count daily visitors without building a long-term visitor profile.

Measure reports pageviews and registered custom events. Stated plainly: goals are not evaluated or displayed.
